We are selling our 1995 Bayliner 3587 aft cabin motor yacht. We have enjoyed our time on this boat, but we had an opportunity to “move up” to a larger boat and couldn’t resist.
In the past year we have put over $7,000 of new canvas enclosures on the aft sundeck and on the fly bridge, installed new MMSI enabled VHF radio on the bridge, new Lowrance 9” GPS chart plotter with Navionics chart set, new 6 gallon stainless steel water heater, 2 new 1100GPH bilge pumps, one new float switch for one of the bilge pumps, new raw water pump impeller for stbd engine, both prop shaft packing glands were repacked, canvas covers for salon windows, fwd hatch and aft cabin stern window/escape hatch.
The galley is equipped with a newer 7cu ft fridge/freezer, 3 burner elect stove and oven, double stainless-steel sink, single handle faucet and a microwave oven.
The boat is powered by twin 250HP turbo charged Hino diesel engines with under 1200 hours each. There is also an 8KW Westerbeke diesel genset with 1820 hours on it. Engines and genset run well without issues.
The electronics installed on the boat are two VHF radios (bridge and lower helm), GPS chart plotter (bridge) digital depth finder (bridge), Fishfinder and depth finder (lower helm), Furuno radar (lower helm).
The boat has a full width master stateroom with queen size bed, hanging locker, nights stands on both sides of the berth, storage cabinet on the salon bulkhead, numerous coat hooks for jackets, sweaters, etc., separate stall shower, enclosed head with electric marine toilet and a separate vanity with storage above and below. The salon has the galley to port, a settee to starboard and a raised dinette which converts to a double berth forward of the galley on the port side. There is also a 32" flat screen TV with DVD player and an over the air digital TV antenna. The lower helm station is forward of the settee on the starboard side.
Forward of the salon is a guest cabin to port with a double berth. Forward of the salon and to starboard is the guest/VIP head with sink, shower and electric marine toilet. Forward of the guest cabin and guest/VIP head is the VIP cabin equipped with a double berth, a night stand with storage and a seating area between the night stand and the guest cabin bulkhead.
The sundeck has an entertainment center which includes an ice maker, sink and extra storage. There is also another storage compartment to the port side of the companionway door to the salon. To the starboard side of the companionway door to the salon there are steps leading to the fly bridge with center helm station and a co-captain chair to starboard of helm and L-shaped seating for guests to the port and aft sides of the helm station. Above the hardtop over the sundeck is an electric davit with corded controls which would allow and owner to load a tender onto the hardtop. The davit is fully functional.
Upgrades to the boat include LED lighting for navigation lights, sundeck lights, courtesy lights, salon lights, Master, guest and VIP cabin lights, Master cabin head, vanity and shower lights, guest and VIP head lights, guest and VIP cabin lights. There are upgraded 120V outlets with USB charging ports located in the Salon, Master cabin and VIP cabin. The bridge also has USB charging ports on the port and starboard sides of the instrument panel. The bridge also has a 12V power source on the starboard side of the instrument panel. The boat has three AM/FM stereo radios installed (bridge, salon and master cabin). For safety, there are 6 bilge pumps (three manually controlled and three controlled by float switches). Included are 4 fenders in stainless steel holders on the bow.
The boat shows pride of ownership, performs well and is in very good condition. The only thing that we know of that isn’t fully functional is the remote spotlight mounted on the bow pulpit. Given that we do not spend time cruising after dark, it was not a priority to repair.
We do not need help selling the boat. We are savvy enough to sniff out scam artists. We will not respond to inquiries from anyone who does not leave a name and contact information so don’t waste our time or yours. The boat is seriously for sale, but we are not in a “must sell” situation so don’t bother pitching a low-ball offer. I am also not interested in providing seller financing. If you are serious about the boat, make an appointment to see it and if you are interested in purchasing the boat, we will write up a purchase contract with deposit and then schedule a sea trial.
Thank you for your interest in our boat.
