They were designed by the famous Naval Architect Ted Hood who designed and built just over 100 of them between 1980 and 1984 in New England.

They are exceptionally strong cruisers that have a reputation for excellent sailing characteristics. “LaBaleine” will sleep six to eight, two in the aft Master’s cabin with ensuite head, two in the forward stateroom v-berth with access to the forward head, and two to four in the salon with separate access to the forward head.
Her spacious Center Cockpit provides excellent visibility while affording protection from the weather and spray.
With her Centerboard Keel, “LaBaleine” will allow you to take advantage of shallow passages and anchorages that other yachts her size cannot and, with the Centerboard down, she will point exceptionally well to weather while under sail. “LaBaleine’s” current owner has maintained her well for the past 9 years.
