EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR HER AGE, Jensen Marine 1968 Cal 34, Erie, PA, This freshwater boat has been very well maintained inside and outside and has had just two owners. The current owner purchased her in 1983. The boat is well equipped for cruising and club racing (comes with seven (7) sails including the main), and includes numerous upgrades. Recent Upgrades: The entire electrical system was overhauled and upgraded in 2008, including ABYC compliant wiring throughout, AC shorepower (with 110v/30-amp inlet), seven (7) GFI outlets, two-bank marine battery charger, and custom toggle combo (AC/DC) circuit breaker panel over the port quarter berth (2008), Cushions for the forward berths, dinette and quarter berths were reupholstered (foam and fabric) (2006), installed new opening ports (four (4)) with built-in screens in forward cabin and in head area (2009), new roller furling genoa (150%) by Haarstick with UV strip (2005), new cockpit bimini top – Sunbrella navy blue canvas (2008), new Garmin 430S Chartplotter/depthfinder pedestal mounted (2008), new Raymarine cockpit wheel auto pilot (2008), new Ritchie pedestal mounted compass (2008), new Sony CDX-M50iP AM/FM/CD receiver with Polk Audio marine speakers in cabin interior (2008), Fresh Anti-fouling Paint (2015), Interior: The bright two cabin interior of this Cal 34 comfortably sleeps six (6) and is light and airy with eight (8) windows and warm natural mahogany finish throughout. The forward cabin has a double berth, a spacious hanging locker, a built-in dresser with three (3) drawers, an overhead opening hatch, two (2) opening ports with built-in screens, and access to the anchor locker. The head is privately separated from either cabin by two mahogany doors and contains a mirrored dressing table (with storage underneath), a stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water, a generous hanging locker, and two (2) opening ports with built-in screens. The large galley is located on the starboard side of the main cabin with a top loading 50 lb. ice box, a stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water, four (4) storage drawers, a white formica countertop, two (2) front-opening cupboards, and a 110/12v refrigerator. The spacious dinette (seats six (6) comfortably) is to the port, with the table dropping down to create a double berth. There are two (2) quarter berths for the extra tall crewman. There is plenty of stowage space for sails, lifejackets and other gear under each quarter berth, under each forward berth and under the dinette seats.
