The Offshore 44' was a Bruce Roberts design popular among serious cruisers. The owners chose version D - a center cockpit sloop rig. The hull is laid up thick, so it is a strong and stable boat, and is less prone to hull damage than its modern counterparts if you were to hit a log or run aground. Center Cockpit design with queen sized bed in aft berth. Aft stateroom has a private head, with sink and mirror. Forward of the aft stateroom on the portside is a storage area and a chart table with chart storage. On the starboard side is the U-shaped galley with propane stove/oven, sink, microwave, and 19 Cu ft refrigerator/freezer on 120V cold plates. There is a U-shaped seating area with dining table on the portside of the salon. On the starboard side, there are two bunks - the lower one doubles as a couch and the owner often uses the upper one for storage. Forward of the saloon is a head and shower compartment. The forepeak is a V-berth and drawer storage.
Cabin is heated with forced air diesel heat. 3 burner gas cooker The electronics are all original - they work, though the next owner would likely wish to replace them with modern versions. 2 halyard winches
