If you are not familiar with these vessels, please understand that you will not find more interior volume and deck space on any vessel in this size range and larger. It would not be hard to convert MORADA back to a motorsailer if so desired. If you are looking for the most boat for the money, MORADA deserves your time to go and see her! Please make an offer, this boat must be sold!
This Motor Sailer/Trawler is a go anywhere little ship and fantastic Live Aboard. Super economical at 1.5gph doing 6.5 knots. Endless storage for gear, supplies and provisions. With 400 gallons of water and 400 gallons of fuel, you have almost endless options!
MORADA, with her pleasing classic hull lines and numerous amenities, is an ideal live-aboard cruiser. She was converted from an Island Trader ketch rigged, motorsailer to a trawler, to allow access to cruising areas restricted by bridge heights. Her wide beam and high freeboard provide comfortable accommodations, whether in her spacious salon, in the master suite, on the enclosed aft deck , or outside on the large deck house and forward deck. Her full keel, sailboat draft and heavy weight provide for great stability, as well as rudder and prop protection. Her large fuel capacity gives her a potential cruising range of over 1000 miles. These features make MORADA an ideal vessel for cruising the islands or the coastal United States. She will fit under the lowest bridge on America's Great Loop. Her design provides for a lower profile than a typical trawler. MORADA can readily be converted back to a sailing vessel, if desired, with numerous sail configuration options.
