The Stamas 310 Express is a well-built fishing boat whose rugged good looks, fine handling characteristics and affordable price have made her a strong contender in the midsize express market since her introduction in 1993. Viewed by many as a fishing boat only, her comfortable interior is well suited to the demands of family cruising. There are berths for four below with a V-berth forward and a handy mid-berth aft. Appointments include a teak-and-holly sole, compact galley, hydraulic high-low dinette, and enclosed head with shower. On deck, the cockpit comes standard with a full array of fishing features including a bait-prep station with sink, cutting board, tackle storage drawers, livewell, and a transom door. The bridge deck has wide navigator and helm seats for two and the cockpit has an aft facing double seat, all of which have under seat storage with overboard drains. On this inboard version, two large hatches in the cockpit sole provide excellent access to the engines. Overall this version is much better balanced than the outboard version with it weight distributed low and forward instead of large outboards hanging off the transom. Diesels are also preferred in this boat for their fuel economy.
CYE GONE engines have been serviced by Guy Crudele of Gloucester and are water ready with service right up to date. Recent updates include all new motor mounts and full engine alignments as well as regular service.
Here are some highlights of her equipment and features hardtop with full enclosure, smiles in all panels and back drop, 21’ double halyard outriggers, liferaft, Furuno radar and fishfinder, Northstar 952X GPS chartpplotter, Simrad autopilot, ICOM IC-M502 VHF Radio, new Ritchie blue card compass, Fusion MS-AV600 CD/DVD/AM/FM with Ipod connector and JL Speakers with remote control and controller at helm, 17”Viseo flat panel TV, Simpson-Lawrence windlass, fresh and raw water washdowns, 6 rod holders, 12 rocket launchers, 6 under gunwale rod holders and 4 rod holder overhead in the cabin, new coaming pads 2013, new rear seat 2012, props serviced 2012, new underwater lights, pop-up rear cleats, adjustable wheel and a helm cover.
CYE GONE is an excellent, clean example of this popular boats but the seller has had little time to use her over the last couple of years due to an increase in his business.
Still in production today, the Stamas 310 Express is one of only a few boats that cross over very well from a serious fishing machine to a very comfortable family cruiser. Fish hard on Saturday with the boys and cruise with the family on Sunday.
