FACTS: This is reported to be the classic Vagabond 47 Hull #1. The current owner began a comprehensive refit and spent thousands of dollars on many things to restore her. She has new sails, new aluminum masts and SS rigging, new fiberglass decks, new aluminum fuel tanks and so on. However, due to personal reasons, he has been unable to follow up on the repairs and re-conditioning of this great yacht and now must sell it to someone with the passion to restore her to her original glory.
The bottom is blister free, the hull and decks are in very good condition, the sails, masts and SS rigging are new (old sails also available). Her engine was re-conditioned and she was commissioned and motor sailed from Baltimore to Virginia. Her interior has been stripped of old and damaged wood, leaks repaired and prepped for building out to your dream yacht interior. With some initial rework, she can be a very economical way to live aboard while finishing up the details to make her ready for the great offshore cruiser that she once was. Email for details:
